TRACE - Sri Lanka hosted a delegation from the University of Hamburg, Germany

As part of the visit, the delegation was introduced to the mission and initiatives of TRACE and the TRACE Global Connect program, highlighting how global partners can support Sri Lanka’s entrepreneurial and technological growth.

They were also given an inside look at some of the country’s most exciting innovations, including the Vega EVX supercar and electric tuks by Vega Innovations and Elektrateq, as well as Jendo Innovations’s medtech solutions for cardiovascular health. The delegation also visited Nagarro, where discussions explored research opportunities related to climate change, biodiversity, deep tech, and biotech, along with exciting possibilities for student exchange programs.

The visit wrapped up with a taste of Sri Lankan hospitality, complete with local cuisine
