TRACE and Uva Wellassa University Join Forces to Ignite Innovation

In a significant milestone for Sri Lanka's innovation ecosystem, TRACE - Sri Lanka and Uva Wellassa University (UWU) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the UWU-TRACE Innovation Hub on the university's campus.

This strategic partnership marks the beginning of a long-term journey to empower entrepreneurs, uplift regional innovation, and create meaningful opportunities for students, researchers, and startups in the Uva Province. By combining the strengths of TRACE's expertise and UWU's academic excellence, this collaboration aims to foster a vibrant culture of creativity and entrepreneurship.

Through the UWU-TRACE Innovation Hub, the two institutions will work together to inspire and nurture the entrepreneurial mindset among students and faculty, provide state-of-the-art co-working spaces and incubation facilities to support emerging startups, facilitate knowledge exchange, mentorship, and access to resources for innovators and entrepreneurs, and establish a dynamic ecosystem for research, development, and technological advancement.

Together, TRACE and Uva Wellassa University are building the next generation of innovators, empowering them to transform ideas into impactful solutions that drive progress in the region and beyond.
